In my role as Chairman of Sandbach Partnership for the last 19 years, I am proud of what I have achieved, no one person alone can do these things on their own, so my thanks go to everyone who played a part in helping us to become a successful partnership, we also helped other towns in developing partnerships, Holmes Chapel, Wilmslow and Poynton.

I am particularly proud of all the local groups we have helped and worked with, the many events we ran over the years including All Inclusive Play Day, Halloween, Health & Wellbeing Fayre, Sandbach Today, Tree of Light, working with schools, pond dipping, nature trailing and litter picking.

Our biggest project was the refurbishment of Sandbach Park we started that in 2008 working with officers and volunteers we have transformed the park from a very neglected park to a very popular area for the community to enjoy.

Friend of Sandbach Park was set up as a result of the work in the park and still play a huge role in maintaining the park.

I am proud of being able to save the telephone kiosk from Platt Avenue and have it refurbished and put in Sandbach Park.  The last thing we have done in the park is the floor games.

We played a huge part in the refurbishment of the Cobbled Square a public realm scheme and Cycle racks.

We also helped with the regeneration of Elworth park and Wheelock play area.

As you can imagine over the years, I have faced many challenges and opposition, overall, it has been very rewarding and enjoyable venture.

I am proud of what we have achieved and again thanks to everyone for all your support and help without you all this would not have happened.
