Third Youth Engagement Showcase unites young people and service providers

//Third Youth Engagement Showcase unites young people and service providers

We proudly hosted our 3rd Youth Engagement Showcase (YES) event during the Transport Festival weekend in Sandbach. The event was a resounding success that, not only showcased what Sandbach has to offer young people but, brought like minded youth groups and service providers together from across the area in a powerful show of collaboration and community spirit.

Held at Sandbach town hall, the event featured interactive exhibits from sport groups, uniformed services, charities and public services – all aimed at empowering and engaging Sandbach’s younger generation. The event services as a networking and engagement platform connecting young people with vital support networks and opportunities provided by local organisations.

Vice-chair at Sandbach Partnership and event lead, Anne-Marie Robinson said: ‘This showcase really is a shining example of the impact that can be made when we bring people together. We’re proud to see so many services working together – from education and health to arts and sports – to support and inspire the next generation’.

With support from Sandbach Town Council, the event underscored the importance of collaboration in building a stronger, more inclusive future for Sandbach’s youth.

Plans are now in motion for a directory of youth services to be hosted on Sandbach Partnership’s website to improve accessibility and partnership working. If you would like your youth group or service to be featured, please complete the online form which is available here.
