Sandbach came alive with thrills and chills on Saturday, 25th October 2025, as the town celebrated its annual Spooky Saturday event. Families, friends, and visitors gathered to enjoy an afternoon packed with Halloween-themed activities, entertainment, and community spirit.
The event featured a costume parade, apple bobbing, spooky slime making and much more for all ages.
Highlights included:
- Live Performances: Music and dance acts from Carney Youth Academy Cheshire, SMASH Performing School of Arts and KE Dance and Fitness brought energy and excitement to the town square.
- Children’s Activities: Face painting, tombstone trail, and craft workshops, from Sandbach Art Rooms, kept younger visitors entertained.
- Food & Drink: Seasonal treats and warm beverages were available from local vendors.
Organisers, Sandbach Partnership, expressed gratitude to the community for making Spooky Saturday a success. “It’s wonderful to see Sandbach come together for such a fun and inclusive event, which this year featured a sensory hour for the first time” said Anne-Marie Robinson, Event Lead. “We would like to thank all of the performers and stall holders who have taken part and made this event another huge success!”
