Sandbach Clean Team (SCT) has over 150 volunteers who help with our aim of keeping Sandbach litter-free and tidy and tackling ‘grot-spots’. We hold a monthly organised litter pick on Saturday mornings (usually third in the month) from 10:00am until noon. Additionally, many members participate in our “adopt an area” scheme, picking litter around their locality.
All members are issued free-of-charge with a hi-viz vest, a bag hoop, bags and a litter-picker..
Annual fund-raising events such as quizzes cover most running costs, with the remainder covered by financial support from Local Government and sponsorship from businesses through their community awards.
