If you are no longer in full time work we call it your third age – a time when you have opportunities to develop your interests, make new friends, learn and have fun.
Sandbach u3a, which is part of a national movement, started in 2003, and is now the largest voluntary organisation in Sandbach with nearly 1300 members.
We have 100+ member-led groups from Brewing to Books, French to Football (the walking variety) Geology to Gardening, Patchwork to Petanque and more.
We hold member events, including trips, quizzes, members’ mornings with a speaker, and welcome new members throughout the year.
Talk to us in person at our information desk on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month between 9:30 and 11:30am upstairs in Sandbach Library.
