Just say…… Y.E.S

Back for its third year, this event brought together a range of youth clubs, services and activities from across Sandbach at this Youth Engagement Showcase (Y.E.S) event.

This event took place on the weekend of our famous Transport Festival and over 250 people visited us to find out what Sandbach has to offer young people. Visitors enjoyed hearing the fantastic South Cheshire Pipers and enjoyed coding robotics and joining in the games with the various sports clubs (they also hunted down our lovely smiley face balloons).

This event has been a great success over the last two years with hundreds of people visiting the gathered groups and organisations offering activities for young people of all abilities from 0-21 years across Sandbach. If you run or organise on of these, we are also adding a new area to our website, a ‘Youth Zone’ which will serve as a point of reference where the general public can find out more about the organisations, activities and groups in our town.
