Dementia Friendly Sandbach running Information sessions in Dementia Action Week

Sandbach Partnership are running dementia friend’s information sessions during Dementia Action Week (between 21st and 27th May) as part of their initiative to establish Sandbach as a dementia friendly community. Three local residents, Dot Flint, Sandbach Partnership Chair, and local Rotarian Jane Spencer and Dave Whitworth were recently trained in Crewe as Dementia Friends Champions to run these and future information sessions in Sandbach. Drop Kerb project in Sandbach

Sandbach Partnership have played a key role in supporting Grass Roots Disability Sandbach as they complete another phase of the ‘Drop Kerb’ project in Sandbach town centre. Grass Roots Disability Sandbach continues to progress since being set up in September 2015. The group was started by Craig Bayley (chairman) a local disabled resident with the help and guidance of Dot Flint (Chair of Sandbach Partnership).
